Monkee Genes

At the beginning of January this year I got the chance to do some work experience at the Monkee Genes Head Office. If you're not familiar with Monkee Genes they are an ethical jean making company that use organic cotton in their styles including jeans and chinos in different colours.

They participated in the Bread and Butter Trade Show in Berlin last week and I helped them prepare for the event. In preparation for Bread and Butter I helped arrange the stand they used by helping select the ranges and putting them into an appealing order in terms of colours and certain looks.
I also helped to arrange samples of the jeans and chinos they have to offer for potential clients and prepared a spreadsheet of their clients email addresses so that they were easier to locate.

Whilst at Monkee Genes I also got the opportunity to do a blog post for them about their AW12 lookbook (behind the scenes) Have a look at it here

I am very grateful for Monkee Genes letting me work there for a few days, all the team were lovely and welcoming!
They sell their jeans on their website here, aswell as on ASOS and in Topman and Selfridges, as well as many other retailers so go have a look!
